The Elder World of Kirin has faced many hard times in the past, and each time it has grown from the ashes, to be reborn anew. For a time, it has known peace and prosperity. But the old alliances are crumbling, and the comradre shared between the races has dissolved. No longer do they have a figurehead the lead them. The heroes are gone now, lost to the past.
It was no surprise that the races were near defenceless when it happened. Out of nowhere, the beasts of the hills, the Ramorns, the snakes of the jungle, the Lizardmen, and the black-armored brutes of Chaos have struck. With surgical precision, they hit the weakest parts of the world, each in a different way. The future seems grim, the population of the world lie leaderless and scattered, and hope is slim.
The Clerics of the Dawn promise a new age, free from this tyranny. All the people have to do is follow them.
But all is not so simple. Are they what they seem? There seems to be only one true course of action, one of drastic measures. With the help of a soul-torn mage, the veterans of the Age of Awakening must rescue the greatest of their number from the past...
Only then will the world unite.
