After saving the King from the assasination, he greatly thanks you. The king is an old man, and he is unable to pursue his goals. Deeming you a trustworthy person, and being a man that understands the potential value of other people, the king decided to trust you with one of his most important secrets. A secret that will change your life forever.

He told you that years ago, he met a strange old man, who gave him an even stranger looking piece of parchment. The parchement was of a blue hue, which had intricate silver writings. The old man claimed that it was a map, a map to a legendary city, filled with magical artifacts and riches of unimaginable amount. ( You can change this part, I was also thinking a powerful artifact. )

The prince took the map, and ran off with a few of his friends in search of this treasure. After weeks of wandering, and evading the King's Guards, the prince was able to find the first clue to the whereabouts of the city.

It was there, when everything went all wrong.

One of the friends who travelled with the prince died suddenly ( Dunno how, just died somehow... ), the other members of the group blamed each other for the death. Finally unable to solve their problem, they decided to forget all about the adventure that costed them their friend's life.

They tore the map into six pieces, one piece each for the remaining members of the group. They each seperated their paths, going into a different direction than the other.

The king then told you that during the last few weeks, he had lost contact with four of his friends who had a piece of that map. Now with the attempted assasination against him, the king figured out that someone was after the pieces of the map.

The king then gave you a piece of the map, and gave you directions where the other members of the group were. The king hoped that you would find and recover the pieces, and protect them from whoever it was who is trying to find the pieces."
