Isaac Silverblade
"Never will the light fail, for one will always rise to challenge the darkness"
Date of Birth: 19th Day of Dawnlight, 1405 P.D
Date of Death: N/A
Isaac grew up in Helm's Port on the northern part of Minos, born of human parents, and near the beginning when the world was just beginning to feel the presence of the Second Age of Chaos. As a young man, he quickly learned to defend himself using his father's blade, as the attacks of Khaine's raiders began to reach Minos. He joined a mercenary group at the age of eighteen, and travelled to Durrich in their company, hoping to perform a raid on Khaine's men. However, they were ambushed by a group of Minotaur, and all were slaughtered, save Isaac, whom they presumed dead when he was struck with a mace. He was found hours later by a young man of his age, a barbarian from a nearby tribe, who was hunting for food. As barbarians are, this young one recognized the honourable fight between these fallen raiders and the Minotaur, and so rescued the unconcious Isaac. The barbarian's name was Sturm Rothgar. His last name was chosen by the name of his tribe, and all barbarians in the tribe possessed the same last name because of this.
However, his tribe did not take kindly to their men bringing home an outsider, and so cast out Sturm and the newly arrived Isaac. Sturm was forced to renounce his tribe name, and he did so gladly. They took the raiders abandoned ship and set sail for Minos. They landed in Helm's Port, Isaacs homeland, where they sold the larger ship for something smaller and enough posessions to get them on their way. After years of mercenary work and adventuring, Isaac, now twenty, and Sturm, now twenty-one, met the questing Gor & Eltharin, and threw in their lot with them, to combat the growing forces of evil.
During the Age of Dragon's, Isaac & Sturm disappeared off the face of Kirin, puzzling their companions greatly. On their return however, all was made clear. Sturm spoke of an unholy place, the dark opposite of Kirin, where was found an enourmous temple. He said that Isaac broke the seal on the massive doors and went inside. He returned, hours later, changed, quiet, and reformed. He had found the Gods of Kirin, who had not left the world, but been trapped by Krow's plotting within the Dark Realm. He founded the Order of the Wolf in 1442 P.D. upon returning, to which he appointed the reknowned knight, Caledor, to the head. He eventually succeeded him, in 1452 P.D.
Isaac is fairly tall and muscular, standing at 5'9". He is of fair complexion, though battle-worn and scarred late in life. His eyes are of the deepest brown, and command a powerful presence, framed by his long blond hair, streaked for many years with premature grey hairs.
He wields a fine longsword, a family heirloom, which has not broken in all his travels, and is polished to a fine edge. He uses this weapon alone in battle, in conjunction with his kite shield bearing the sigil of the Order of the Wolf. He generally wears a set of plate mail engraved a matching sigil on the breastplate. He wears no helm, but wears a silver circlet around his forehead that represents his status in the Order. He wears a white fur cloak skinned by experts from a winter wolf of Durrich, a token of the trial to become a high paladin of the Order. This cloak was given to Fenris Relegard in 1457 P.D. as a token of honor.
Isaac has been touched by the Gods, and the argueably the most powerful of the Order paladins, and his powers are considerably great, ranging from healing abilities, to holy attacks to smite and burn the undead. He is also no novice to the blade, having used it for the majority of his older life. He is able to speak Common, as well as the Dwarven and Elven languages, picked up from his companions. He is a novice in many other languages, using them primarily to keep peace with the more primative races. His patron gods include Wolfgar, Tyrwnn, Tuoi, and Sarathin.
